Helping Hands will be holding the next of our Financial Literacy presentations on September 17th - 10am at the Council on Aging in Dowagiac and 1pm at the Council on Aging in Cassopolis. We collaborate with agencies to offer food assistance to those in need. If you have a referral, please bring it during business hours and we’ll gladly provide you with a food box.
We have a lot of household essentials you need. Feel free to bring your referral during business hours, and we’ll be happy to help you out (usually blankets, sheets, dishes, etc.).
We offer a wide range of personal care products, including shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, and other essentials. We’re happy to fulfill your requests through referrals.

In addition to our own pantry, we work with other food distribution programs and organizations to .serve this community.
We sell gently used apparel, toys, crafts, and more at our Thrift Store on 130 S Broadway. Follow us on Facebook to see the weekly sales.
We partner with St. Ann's Church to assist those who have received shut-off notices. There are a few requirements and the amounts are limited. If you are in need, please call Helping Hands to see if you are eligible.
